3 Gun Competition is the fastest growing of the competitive shooting sports. It is a timed event where the participant engages a number of targets with a pistol, a rifle, and a shotgun. The object is to neutralize the targets in the shortest amount of time. Missed targets add time to your score.
A SCSC 3 gun match consists of 3 different stages designed that may have you shooting with 1, 2 or all 3 guns in a single stage. We shoot at cardboard I.D.P.A. targets as well as a variety of steel plates.
Saint Charles Sportsmen’s Club also has a good selection of moving target systems that are often integrated into the stages to further challenge the shooter.
